Pyxis does everything differently... it is now official! We received a MercadOr 2010 award for our innovative human resource practices.
Life is grand at Pyxis; we were also finalists for Dunamis in the “work-life balance” category in 2010.
Pyxis won a prize in 2008 at the 10th Edition of Québec Entrepreneurship Contest in the "success in business" category.
Commitment to "Agile"
Pyxissians give conferences around the world to spread the word on Agile practices. For 6 years, more than 75 conferences have impacted more than 10,000 people directly or indirectly. Pyxis is involved regularly in the Agile Montréal and Android communities, and during events such as the Agile Tour and the "Salon des TIC" in Québec.
Pyxis is committed to and supports the success of Agile software development in Montréal, Québec and France. Pyxis notably supports the Agile Québec and .NET communities.
In 2002, Pyxis created the Agile Montréal community and is still actively involved.
For the past 2 years, Pyxis has been a sponsor of the Agile Tour in Québec, Montréal, Paris and Grenoble.
Social commitment
Pyxis wants to make a difference socially which is why we organize and participate in fundraising events. For instance:
- In
December 2009, Pyxis participated in the 24h of Tremblant to help raise
money for sick and underprivileged children. Pyxis donated the money
raised to the Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau.
- For the past 2 years, Pyxis employees have supported the Mira foundation by organizing the annual 'bring your dog to work' day.
