Jean-François Thériault

Agile developer

Holding a bachelor's degree in information technologies from Université de Sherbrooke, Jean-François discovered the virtues of Agile development in 2005 while working on a personal project: ProjectCards. This passion made him extend his knowledge of Agile Lean software development. At Pyxis since 2008, he has been playing various roles such as Java/J2EE developer, technological expert, technical coach, trainer, Agile project manager (Scrum Master) and Product Owner. He also has a leading expertise in optimizing application performance. His communication skills, leadership, and motivation allow him to play a key role in a team and to oversee the development of application modules by supervising and training the team and taking part in the quality assurance of the work done by the team members. Jean-François' vast experience with small- and large-scale organizations broadens his intervention toolbox. Therefore, he is able to efficiently coach development teams of all sizes in order to deliver high-quality software applications meeting the clients' needs.
Some have tact, others tell the truth...
