Laval, Quebec, June 1, 2009—Pyxis Technologies is proud to announce the selling of GreenHopper for JIRA to Atlassian. GreenHopper is part of an innovative and efficient tool suite helping teams integrate Agile practices into their projects. Launched in September 2007, GreenHopper is an intuitive and simple interface for Agile project management on JIRA. GreenHopper has over 1000 clients worldwide.
Here are the motivations which led to the selling of GreenHopper for JIRA to Atlassian:
After his participation to a contest intended for developers, Jean-Christophe Huet, developer at Pyxis Technologies, created a new application for JIRA: GreenHopper. His initiative was supported by Pyxis Technologies. Together they deployed efforts to market GreenHopper. This partnership between Pyxis and a collaborator resulted in a big success: GreenHopper is JIRA's most popular plug-in.
Pyxis Technologies is specializing in the development of customized software as well as in the development of tools promoting cooperation and helping developers deliver high quality software. In 2005, Pyxis Technologies decides to develop products. The first product development project is GreenPepper, a plug-in for Atlassian's Confluence. GreenPepper is a tool integrating executable specifications and automated functional testing into software development processes, thus reducing any ambiguity related to the expression of needs between all actors.
Right from the beginning, Pyxis Technologies experiments state-of-the-art development practices. At Pyxis Technologies, Agility is guiding its practices every day. Pyxis Technologies is recognized for its Agile training courses. In fact, since 2005, it trained and certified over 770 ScrumMasters. Up to now, Pyxis Technologies coached more than one hundred organizations in the adoption of Agile approaches. For more information, visit: www.pyxis-tech.com.
