Agile Finance Conference, a success!

On May 17th, we held the second edition of our Agile Finance event at the chic Club St-James in Montreal. Agile Finance aims at bringing together IT professionals working in the financial field to create a community of interest. More than 90 people attended the event to hear our guest speakers and panelists. Nathalie Desautels hosted the evening with the help of Jesus Mendez who led the panel. They are both Agile coaches at Pyxis.

Agile Finance, conferences and panel

This year, our two speakers were:

Wilfrid Merlet, Senior Business Change Manager for the National Bank of Canada. Wilfrid leads the Agile transformation of business projects with the intention of delivering value to customers faster. His conference “Propelling Customer Experience with Agility at the National Bank” focused on the Bank’s overall transformation and the barriers it faced.

Benjamin Roy of Société Générale Americas in New York. Benjamin Roy is Managing Director within the Societe Generale Group and manages Societe Generale Americas’ information system management teams. His conference “From Team Agility to Agility on a Large Scale” recounted the process of applying Agility to an IT group of more than 7,000 people.

As for our 6 panellists, Philippe Assani from Alten Canada, Olivier Durbec from National Bank, Simon Gignac from PSP Investments, Laurent Grigorescu from CGI, Florent Monthel from Société Générale and Guillaume Soyer from Pyxis, they all answered the question, “What was your biggest challenge during your Agile transformation?” Stories, challenges, tips and anecdotes were on the menu.
