Agile approaches and Scrum project management


Plunge into the world of Scrum and experience its various events. Participants will have the opportunity to experiment concretely the different events of Scrum and produce Scrum’s related artifacts while being guided throughout each step by an expert who has hands-on experience implementing Scrum in development teams.

  • Experiment the execution of a Scrum project—During a practical exercise, each participant plays the role of a member of the Scrum team.
  • Discuss with an Agile expert—During the course, the trainer asks questions to verify that participants understand the concepts presented. The trainer also shares their work experience and answers questions about the participants’ specific contexts.

What you will learn:

  • To understand the philosophy behind Agile approaches, more specifically the Scrum framework:
    • Describe the values and principles of the Agile manifesto
    • Determine the deliverables, activities, and roles according to the Scrum Guide from
  • To apply the basics of Agile project management and, more specifically, to understand how to clarify and use the project vision to create the basic elements required to launch a project:
    • build an initial product backlog
    • organize the development according to the business value
    • write backlog items that are compatible with the management of a Scrum product backlog
    • establish an iterative and incremental release plan
